Your patient presents with toothache. He also has foul breath, is thirsty for cold beverages, and is constipated. The pulse is rapid and forceful. You diagnose Stomach fire. What points could you use to clear heat and treat toothache?
LI-4 is the command point of the face, so it's good for anything in the face. ST-44 is the Ying-Spring points, so it clears heat (especially from the face). ST-6 and ST-7 are near the teeth, so they're good for the teeth. These points would also be useful for treating TMJ/lockjaw.
