How is Wu Zhu Yu (evodiae fructus) used to descend floating heat?

Make into a paste and apply to the soles of the feet at KI-1
Take internally as decoction
Use with moxa at REN-8
Use in food therapy

Wu Zhu Yu can lead fire back to its source, but it can only be used externally for this purpose. It is ground into a powder, mixed with vinegar, and applied to the center of the soles of the feet.
